Here's our latest Audio Quilt, "The Google Keywords Song". This is a song about Google keywords that historically seem to fetch a high cost per click (CPC).

Notes: You might interested to know that the difference between "school loan consolidation" and "school loans consolidation" is about 20 bucks! That's an expensive S if you ask me. The difference between "auto insurance quote" and "auto insurance quotes" is about $5. The "S factor" is reversed in "student loan refinance" and "student loans refinance" by about a dollar.

We spotted this video by DaJugglingFool a couple years ago (released in 2007), which has since become a viral sensation, amassing over 10 million views and counting. This video going viral had nothing to do with luck - the person who made this, Andrew Van Vlear, an Azusa State University graduate, is a crazy talented pianist/guitarist/musician that thrives in a diverse array of genres. Going through his channel is an exhilarating experience, and it would not surprise us if the next time you read his name is in the credits of a major motion picture. Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre

James Perry (aka itsmrGuy) has plenty of great audioquilts, but this version of Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque is particularly magnificent. This would be cool to watch projected on a large screen in a dark room lit only by candles, accompanied by burning incense and a shifty cat in the corner. We deem Mr. Perry undersubscribed at just over 200, but considering his age (19), we expect exponential growth. We will be keeping an eye on you in the creepiest way imaginable (but not really, just in case that freaks you out).

Clocks / Chicago (Coldplay / Sufjan Stevens) - Joe Edmonds

Ridiculously good violin player alert! This video was made less than a month ago and has already rounded up quite a bit of attention. Joe Edmonds youtube channel is JGEdmonds. He's definitely made a splash in his young youtube career. If you like what you're seeing/hearing, I suggest checking out his channel and watching his Bohemian Rhapsody quilt which has over a quarter-million views on the old tube.

An AudioQuilt cover by JAS of My Girl. My Girl may have been the first movie I remember seeing that made me cry while sitting in my tightey whitey's eating popcorn with extra butter as a meal. This was a great quilt. I wonder how Macualay Culken is doing these days while JAS is WINNING!

How does this guy only have 63 subscribers?!? This video has only been up for a few days and has close to 1500 views. This is a sweet audio-quilt that covers a true classic. This is somewhat of a throwback audioquilt, and it features some of the biggest stars out there, including the President. There is a good chance you've already seen this considering the 22 million views its already amassed, but we thought this deserved a post regardless.

This is a good 'ol quilt made by a good 'ol boy. Andrew Kesler made this clip in hopes of winning a contest on the Regis and Kelly show. The show wants people to send in creative, entertaining and unique videos about how they start their day. From all the entries there will be only 5 finalists picked on March 7th and the public will vote on the winner.

I was going to shoot a video clip of myself making a pot of coffee and shaving tomorrow morning and send that in but I was told that would be too normal.

Super Mario Bros. Theme Song

It's not secret that Super Mario Brothers is one the best games ever and its popular theme song only does justice to its awesomeness. But here's another top notch game that we just made up. Watch this multitrack by a rising star Audio Quilter, Christopher Souvey, and see if you can make it to the end without laughing once. Every time Souvey hits the high note in this one, there is a chance that it will bring delight to your otherwise uneventful day because of its sheer awesomeness. The Electric Company and Mike Tompkins - The Electric Company theme song mash-up

Mike Tompkins!! -Making me feel more and more average with every view! This guy goes from making beats with Timbaland to working with "the electric company" to re-mix the theme song for their youtube channel "theelectriccompany." For those of you that have never heard of em, The Electric Company describes themselves as a popular channel that encourages literacy learning to kids through the use of today's freshest pop culture, original animations, toe-tapping music videos and exciting narrative story lines.

The kid with the hat that does the guitar in this quilt is awesome. I've watched this several times now and it doesn't get old. I would jog to this song if it were available on itunes and if I jogged.

Matt Mulholland is the freaking man. We're going to try and get this guy on one of audio quilts real soon. He's always got that touch of humor, even when he's legitimately wailing. You won't be disappointed by this sweet new audio quilt.

This brittany spears cover by "amir" is so fresh and so clean... -and so new. As long as they don't hold anything against me I think they are one of my favorites thus far. They are listed under the genres' of alternative, pop and rock. Ryan Pino, one of his band members, was featured on our blog recently for his baby quilt of the song "Fireflies". These two guys are insanely talented. Last Minute is going to be huge.

This guy is just so cool we had to make another post about his work. Simon Craip performing "I Get Around" originally by The Beach Boys. The dude can sing and play a mini orchestra worth of intstruments. We're going to be watching this guy.

This cover of "feeling good" by muse is very cool. I think TheDrumRider is on the up and up. He is just 16 years old! We will keep an eye out for his future AudioQuilts.

Amazing Grace A Capella

This cover of Amazing Grace just barely qualifies as a Mega Quilt and seems to have something a little different from other Audio Quilts going on. It's hard to place exactly what that certain thing is but we think it might have something to do with the hint of an accent and a mature arrangement of this classic tune. Also, we get the sneaking suspicion that Simon Craip may be related to Audio Quilter JP Craip - both from France. A little sibling rivalry brewing perhaps? What do you think?

Blindfolded Guitar - Fireflies + Flip Cup

Not only does YouTuber pinoguy321 play a filthy guitar, but he performs this audioquilt with his guitar blindfolded, and he does it with more percision than I do anything withOUT a blindfold on. And the song choice is really catchy too, so that doesn't hurt.

Moonlight Sonata on Crockenspiel

YouTuber Kurt Hugo Schneider, mid YouTube battle, whips out the crockenspiel and puts his spin on a familiar tune. Did you find the "off" note?

Here's a cover of Billy Joel's song "Goodnight My Angel". The song is amazing of course, but we are specifically impressed with the appropriate amount of reverence maintained in this thoughtful rendition. Did anyone else ever have a man crush on Billy Joel?

Plain White T's - Rhythm of Love (cover)

Great cover, great song and great rhythm... of love! This is "a beautiful song to be sung". The man on percussion has a YouTube channel, Booomer26's. These two have great talent, we cant wait for their next multi track video!

This Britney Spears cover is a fresh Audio Quilt with more of a rock vibe than you usually see or hear in multitracks. We especially like the slight hint of the singers' accents. Also, the female singer in this looked like a long lost sister of Britney Spears, no? Rock on.

Mike Beck - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

Mike Beck poses in multitrack, barbershop tag format, that classic question we've all pondered at some point in our lives - "If happy little blue birds fly above the rainbow why oh why can't I?" If you have an answer to that question, please enlighten us and our readers.

An awesome Baby Quilt cover of 'Friends' by Corey Vidal (also a Jedi). Corey Vidal has been nominated for a People's Choice Award in 2009, host of the 888 YouTube gathering and the second most watched "Guru" in Canada. O Canadaaaa! Vidal has racked up a grand total of 50,350,000 million trillion total upload views on YouTube. He blows bubbles in your milk when you are not looking. Corey Vidal is... The man!

Yes, we realize this Audio Quilt has been around for a while but it's so freaking amazing we just had to pay homage to the great Corey Vidal's viral masterpiece. AQ question of the day: Is there a better composer than John Williams?

MGMT - Kids [One-Man-Band Acoustic Cover]

This is a great Mega Quilt by German YouTuber Felix Theis. He has had his own channel for nearly three years. Check him out on YouTube @ Felixtheis92's.

Vance Perry: Cover of "Down" by Jay Sean

It is clear that Vance Perry has lots of fun working on his multi-track videos, so this is a well earned feature on AudioQuilts. It seems that Perry relies somewhat heavily on a voice modulation program, such as Auto-Tune or Melodyne. We are inclined to suspect that he uses this for pitch correction, but whether that is correct or not does not matter, as it works for him and adds a catchy effect to his voice, especially in this particular song.

It is clear that Perry puts much time and work into each video he does, while maintaining a very homemade feel to his videos, which is charming and seems to work well for him. Shout out to who would appear to be his kids in this video too - it is cool that their dad is not afraid to put stuff out there, and that they aren't either!

Foreplay/Long Time (Jon's One Man Band Boston Cover)

This is unreal. The instruments and vocals are utterly flawless. We're stunned this doesn't have over a million views. Check out WilfredMumbly on YouTube. I'm going to go eat a brownie.

One Man Band

This video by Connor Verge is pretty decent. At 37 seconds on the bottom right screen he does a beat box freak out which will make you kind of laugh. He reminds me of McLovin. Nice work.

Joe Raciti - "Replay"

Here's one from the vault. This is an Audio Quilt I made a long time ago when I was experimenting with taking a popular song and turning it into a canon. When I went to stitch the video together, the Audio Quilt format seemed to make the most sense. While this isn't as polished a piece as some of the Audio Quilts I am about to be releasing into the world, I hope you will at least find it an interesting thought. With this performance, Gonzo eliminates the long-time debate over who the coolest muppet is. Simply put, Gonzo is awesome. The video editors over at the Muppet Studio are pretty awesome too.

Here's an interesting Beatles multitrack by an up-and-coming Audio Quilter who goes by the name "Songsta For Life". He tends toward making team quilts, which impresses us, and has a style that is uniquely his own. We expect to see more of this guy in the future. Enjoy!

What's better than a classic Metallica song from 1991? - A classic Metallica song from 1991 played on kazoos. This Mister Tim fellow is someone who takes the Audio Quilt genre to a new level with a rare combination of musical talent, a unique musical taste, creativity, and intensity. He definitely goes for it in this multitrack cover of Metallica's classis song "Enter Sandman" and we are thrilled to be featuring this awesome video today.

The thought of me attempting to cover these songs is hilarious. Mike Tompkins covers this, get millions of views, millions of fans and has no threatened manhood whatsoever! I applaud his confidence... thanks Mike T!

Matt Mulholland - "Daft Punk"

So this guy Matt Mulholland does mostly comedy Audio Quilts. He's pretty tongue in cheek usually but this multitrack for some reason has a more serious vibe to it. Not that we don't like his comedy... we actually find it rather amusing in fact. Still, this particular Audio Quilt caught our attention because it's just straight good. (And besides, who else is covering the likes of Daft Punk in this style?)

Schmoyoho - "Magical Streamy's Website"

You're not going to find much better musical talent out there than the Gregory Brothers. The versatile musicians/comedians, known for their "Auto-Tune the News Series" and viral "Bed Intruder Song" won a much deserved Streamy's Award last year after taking control of the globe like the Brain from Animaniacs could never do. Take a look at this audio quilt that Michael Gregory (a.k.a Shmoyoho) put together with the Streamy's award page. The video/sound editing in this is pure genius.

Here's another Audio Quilt hot off the presses. It's as if we had an eerie feeling when we made our last post, right about the time that Pomplamoose was uploading this gem onto YouTube and into the world. You know what I really love about these guys? - The way they are able to consistently squeeze out amazing recordings from just their apartment. It's a testament to their passion, attention to detail, and creativity and we are pleased to make this second post in a row dedicated to the great Pomplamoose. Enjoy.

Here's a Team Quilt from some of the most amazing musicians ever to collaborate. Pomplamoose has been exploding on YouTube for a while now and take Audio Quilting to new heights every time they post. You may have noticed that Ben Folds makes an appearance in this video as well. Throw Nick Hornby in there for good measure and you have an Audio Quilting powerhouse.

Shane Stever - "Bed Intruder Song"

You should probably get used to seeing this guy. Not only is he an up-and-coming Audio Quilter with boat loads of talent, he's also going to be in one of our Audio Quilts really soon (stay tuned). The song is a multitrack version of the Gregory Brothers smash viral YouTube hit "Bed Intruder Song" and Shane has even gone to great lengths to recreate some of the original character's outfits. If you have been living under a cave for the last year, you should probably hide your kids and your wife and check out the original version here.

Danny Fong - "Pokemon Theme Song"

We're excited to be writing up our first post on Danny Fong. The quality of his work and music choices are always spot on for maximum enjoyment. He's been carving out a strong following on YouTube for a while now and it's easy to see why. Check out this awesome multitrack version of the Pokemon Theme Song and, if you grew up in the 80's, you might also find his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cover worth a look.

Mike Tompkins FEAT. SHAD - "Only Girl"

Mike Tompkins, a sound engineer from Canada, posted his first multi track video a year ago. 21,943,583 total upload views, 171,000 subscriptions and an appearance on Ellen Degenerous later he is well beyond YouTube celebrity status. At number 4 on the most subscribed Canadian musician list, this guy is making waves, sound waves that is. He also makes me feel lazy and inadequate. This Audio Quilt is hot off the presses. This is the first Team Quilt we are featuring so we hope you enjoy it. These guys are both fairly well-established YouTube personalities and, as you can tell from the audio and video production quality, quite committed to their craft as well. That professionalism is something we love to see and we are excited to bring you an early look at this gem of an Audio Quilt.

I want to be completely honest and let you all know that I did download ke$ha's hit single "tik tok" when it came out on iTunes. The reason why was because i thought it was comical. But is it really funny enough to be in that category or was i just looking for an excuse? This audio quilt is by a popular youtuber that has made a pretty big splash on the internet showing off her work as a singer/pianist. Views of her videos have surpassed 5 million on youtube. She has a nice voice and doesn't try to sound like the artists of the songs she covers. Those are the biggest hoops i have ever seen!

Naya Marie - "Just Dance"

Naya Marie is one of the most popular female Audio Quilt stitchers out there today. She's got an excellent voice, plenty of confidence, and can navigate her way around a production studio to boot. Her beat-boxing skills account for her being near the top of the list of female Audio Quilters. In some of her other videos, you may also notice that she has an incredible vocal range, reminiscent of Mariah Carey - able to hit notes that a music page can barely hold. We highly recommend subscribing to her YouTube channel, nayamarie2009.

Andrew Kesler - "Come Fly With Me"

Here's a delightful Baby Quilt by an extremely talented fellow named Andrew Kesler. He can also kick it on the keys and a number of other instruments as well. This guy is the real deal. Enjoy!
